For Immediate Release The Atlanta office FBI has just completed its latest "FBI Citizens' Academy". This is a course, stretching over a ten week period, consisting of a curriculum that covers various issues and activities of the FBI. Its students include a diverse group of business, civic, religious and community leaders from around the Metro Atlanta area and beyond. This classroom experience gives the "students" an inside look at the world of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and provides the business community with a learning opportunity regarding the many responsibilities of the FBI and the many issues that it faces. The goal of the "FBI Citizens' Academy is to foster relationships and understanding between the local FBI field office and the diverse community in which it serves. A graduation dinner will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Petite Auberge Restaurant, 2395 North Druid Hills Rd., Atlanta, GA (Toco Hills Shopping Center). In recognition of the importance of the above efforts, we are extending an invitation to the various Atlanta area Media outlets to cover this event.
