Atlanta—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Gregory Jones, FBI Atlanta, announces the following arrest conducted by its Safe Child Task Force:

Kenneth V. Chase, age 61, a motorcycle shop employee from Dahlonega, Georgia, was arrested Saturday afternoon, March 8, 2008, at Buford, Georgia, on federal charges related to enticement of a minor child for purposes of having sex.

Chase will appear today before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Atlanta regarding these charges.

The above arrest was conducted by the FBI in conjunction with the Morrow Police Department.

The Safe Child Task Force is an FBI led coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies , consisting primarily of officers of the Morrow P.D., Roswell P.D., Clayton County P.D., Henry County P.D., Alpharetta P.D., Rome P.D., and Duluth P.D., working together to proactively target child sexual predators and producers/distributors of child pornography.
