Atlanta – Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Gregory Jones, FBI Atlanta, requests the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual responsible for today’s armed bank robbery at Norcross, Georgia.

On Friday, December 14, 2007, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a lone black male armed with a grey semi automatic handgun entered the Iron Stone Bank, located at 4591 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Norcross, Georgia, and immediately yelled to the bank employees and customers to get down on the floor.  The robber then jumped over the teller counter and began gathering money from the teller area. The robber then departed the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Once the robber was outside of the bank, he was observed getting into a mid 1990’s Chrysler mini-van, light grey or silver in color and with a handicap placard hanging from the rear view mirror.  It was further observed that a bank dye pack (red dye) exploded in the front area of this van as the robber departed the parking lot.

          The robber is described as follows:

          Race: Black
          Sex:  Male
          Age:  Undetermined
          Hgt:  5’8”- 5’9”
          Wgt:  160-180 lbs.

          Clothing:  black skull cap, black bandana,
                     Black sunglasses.
          Misc:   Grey semi auto handgun
