Atlanta – Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Gregory Jones, FBI Atlanta, is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an armed bank robber who robbed the Gwinnett Community Bank, located at 3463 A, Suite 117, Lawrenceville-Suwannee Road, Suwanee, Georgia, today, July 16, 2007.

At approximately 9:50 a.m. today, 7/16/07, a lone white male entered the above bank wherein he produced a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.  The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank on foot after having repeatedly pointed his weapon at bank employees and ordering them to the floor.  He further threatened to shoot anyone who came after him or attempted to follow him.

The robber is described as a white male, 35-45 years of age, approximately 6' 00" to 6’2” in height, 180-210 lbs, ruddy complexion, and wearing a dark navy blue or black hoodie jacket, blue jeans, and athletic shoes.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of this subject, and anyone with such information is asked to contact the FBI’s Violent Crimes Squad at (404) 679-9000.
