Atlanta – Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Gregory Jones, Atlanta office FBI, along with Lilburn Police Chief John B. Davidson, requests the public’s assistance regarding this afternoon’s armed robbery of the Flagstar Bank, located at 4014 Lawrenceville Highway, Lilburn, Georgia.

On July 3, 2007, at approximately 2:13 p.m., a lone white male entered the above bank and approached a bank employee. After instructing the employee to get behind the customer line, he revealed a handgun tucked in the waistline of his pants. He then threw a bag to the employee and demanded money. After departing the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and without further incident, the robber was observed getting into a dark colored sports utility vehicle (SUV).l

The robber is described as follows:

Race: White

Sex: Male

Age: 50’s

Hgt: 5’10”

Wgt: slender build.

Clothing: blue jeans, green shirt, blue baseball style cap

Misc: eye glasses
