Subject: FBI Directors Award presented on 10.18.07 re citizen work re Child Prostitution Human Trafficking

This is an invitation to attend/cover the FBI Director's Award for 2007 for Community Leadership.  This year the award is being given to Alesia Adams, Atlanta office Salvation Army,  for her work in the area of child prostitution and human trafficking.  She has been instrumental in her efforts in working with the court systems throughout the Atlanta area and beyond in changing the mindset that child prostitutes are victims themselves.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Atlanta office FBI, 2635 Century Parkway, Suite 400, Atlanta, 30345. The ceremony, headed by Atlanta FBI Special Agent in Charge Gregory Jones, will be held on Oct. 18, 2007 and will begin at 11:00 a.m., so Media are requested to be a little early for setup.

Child Prostitution in Atlanta, along with Human Trafficking, is a very prevelant crime problem in Atlanta.  It is our desire to, firstly, honor the hard work and achievement of the Ms. Adams, but secondly, to continue to bring further light to this tragic crime problem.
